Silica-Rich Zeolites

The product range of special grade silica-rich zeolites includes materials belonging to the zeolite types MFI (ZSM-5) and MOR. These zeolites could be synthesized in a wide range of SiO₂/Al₂O₃molar ratios that range from 20 to over 1000. Based on this ratio, it is possible to control the number of acidic active sites in the structure of the material and other properties, according to the needs of a particular application of the material. In addition, these zeolites come in Na- or H-form. Zeolites from this series of products are hydrophobic materials  characterized by high thermal stability and resistance to acids.

These materials are widely used in catalyst formulations for the oil refining industry, the petrochemical industry, alcohol conversion, as well as in the processes of gas separation, biofuel production, etc. In addition, they are employed in environmental application such us the adsorption of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and other pollutants, preventing their emission into the environment.
